When will MSoft fix the sound?!

Thanks to all. It works on Edge and I'm happy with that.

    Fyi...Google(Alphabet) owns YouTube.

If it works on Edge, it should work on Chrome(Google's Browser)
    - likely a configuration problem(Youtube, Chrome, Browser
    Add-in/Extension)

    Quick Fixes

    • Unmute the YouTube Tab: Right-click the open YouTube tab and click
    Unmute site.
    • Check the In-Player Volume: Hover over the video player and make sure
the speaker icon is not muted or set to zero.
    • Check the Volume Mixer: Right-click the speaker icon in your
computer's taskbar, select Open Volume Mixer, and make sure Google
Chrome's individual volume slider is turned up and unmuted.

    • Allow Sites to Play Sound:
    1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner of Chrome and go to
    Settings.
    2. Select Privacy and security > Site settings > Additional content
    settings > Sound.
    3. Ensure Sites can play sound is selected, and check that youtube.com
is not listed under blocked or muted sites.

    • Disable Ad Blockers or Extensions: Browser extensions can occasionally >block audio scripts. Go to chrome://extensions and temporarily toggle
off your ad blocker or privacy extensions to test the sound.

    • Clear Cache and Cookies: Go to Settings > Privacy and security >
Delete browsing data, select Cached images and files and Cookies and
other site data, then click Delete data

Thanks, but no luck with this. I'll go with Edge for you Tube for
    now.
