My first thought [as I wrote] was, this isn't going to end well.
Then I remembered that the last BBC adaptation of a Hercule
Poirot novel had John Malkovich as Hercule Poirot. So it'd be
hard for them to find someone as completely unsuitable in the
role as that.
I'm not expecting much but I'd like to be pleasantly surprised...
