I regret to report that a group calling themselves the Doctor Who
Community has covered "Doctor In Distress."

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guwBuKg-b60

They're amateurs who can't sing, so it's worse than the original.
I do kind of admire them for having the courage to do this, when
a lot people would have just used AI, but this was just a bad
    idea out of the gate.

The meek shall inherit, we're told,
But I'm not so easily sold.
    For supposing they should,
It would do them no good --
They'd lose it at once to the bold.

They can still sing better than half the artists in the UK charts today
and every contestant on The Voice UK. The song is still crap though, but
it was always a crap song to begin with.

AI would have done a better job. Even AI that doesn't even try to sing
but just reads would have done better.

Worse than Shatner signing Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds?

originally. So shit is shit no matter how much you try
    and dress it up.
