    Just watching this right now.

    8.5/10

    A new decade.

    A new production team.

    now incidental music and effects.

Compare the Nimon complex to the Leisure Hive.

We open in Brighton where the Doctor yet again misses
the Brighton Paviilon and there in the middle of a cold windy
    wintery Day.

The Doctor is trying to bypass the randomiser. A little dangeorous.

K-9 gets the Chris Bidmead treatment.

K-9 water circuits do not function on fetching
a ball in water. Bomms goes K-9.

Romana suggests Argolis in the mif 23rd Centurt.

They arrive at a point of crisis.

Malfunctions and unexplained events are happening.

A death of a tourist sparks a crisis.

    The Bidmead factor is interesting.

Fibre optics, tachyon science. That was the early 1980s.

    nd of course the expected.

Pangol is a child of the Generator. The only one born after
the creation of the tachyon generator.

The tachyon generator is the only hope for Argolis.

Romana does most of the work. Hardin does learn from her.

Simpson, someone who looks like Leon Trotsky,
is a scam artist and is deal with accrdingly.

Brock and Trenchard that appears on Argolis are really
    West Lodge Faomasi in disguise.

Most action happens in Episode 3 and by Episode 4
most of the answers are given.

Noted the Doctor's use of the Randomiser in Episode 4 to get things correct.

    Cliffhangers are interesting.

The doctor coming apart - 1st cliffhanger
The Doctor getting old - second cliffhanger
The Faomasi stopping the West Lodge - 3rd Cliffhanger.

A lot of twists and turns.

"And Romana. I must have her."

When I type that line without context, the surrounding cultural
tropes make it sound like he wants her carnally. He does not.
It's her mind he wants. Too bad Romana didn't stay on the show
forever; she could have just regenerated some more when actresses
    left.

It's interesting that all the people who want to harvest
Gallifreyan knowledge focus on Romana. Maybe she seems easier to
control, or perhaps she's just more helpful than the Doctor and
    his constant wisecracks.
