Since the case law of qualified immunity confuses the hell out of me,
I'm not going to comment on what the lawyers got right and wrong on
appeal, But the 3L representing the appellee got a compliment from one
of the judges on the panel.

He's a student at William and Mary, whose enrollment is a bit smaller
than Northwestern's, about 600. The tiny law schools are harder to get
into than Harvard or Yale.
