Unfortunately, I just hit the stupidest episode imaginable where Aquaman is going to destroy the world by melting the north pole and completely
submerging the surface world. The math on that is so astonishingly wrong.
Do you know what happens if you melt the north pole? It’s floating ice. Nothing happens, except some wildlife dies. As floating ice melts it
doesn’t change the water level at all. Try it yourself with some ice cubes and a glass of water.

Actually I would expect water levels to actually drop a bit. Water
expands when it freezes.
