I hope I won't be dead to you when I say this, but I watched the first episode and kinda liked it. Now I've never even read a Green Lantern comic, so other than the most basic general familiarity with the character from Justice League cartoons, I have no idea what lore they're honoring and what they've changed.
I acknowledge that if I was a Lantern fan, I might hate it with passion of a fiery sun. But from the one episode I watched, I didn't think it was bad at all.

The first episode isn’t bad, although I am annoyed with the constant comparisons to TRUE DETECTIVE given that there is a complete lack of high
ho daDario in it.

However, the second episode isn’t nearly as good and the third episode
would have to improve tremendously to be called shit on a stick.

The less you know about Green Lantern the better.

Even more annoying is that possibly the best character in the animated
JUSTICE LEAGUE, and JUSTICE LEAGUE. UNLIMITED is John Stewart and they are totally trashing that legacy.

Actually, I just saw an interview i which she said she only read GL fan- fiction.

But you don't need to be familiar with the material to know it sucks.
