Stuart Fails to Save the Universe (and Podcasts).
Basically, this is Sliders Pasadena style. It’s generally fun. (despite
Will Wheaton) and I’m enjoying the podcasts as well. (despite Will
Wheaton). This week they visited a primitive society with one of the super
hot lifeguards from the late and unlamented Rescue High Surf.

I agree that the relentless action/violence is just too much. About the
time the black lady cop landed on the skylight. I had to stop the show and
take a break.

Zorro 2024
One of two series about the Fox dated 2024, this is a Spanish production
and shot in the Canary Islands! Set in 1834, this fox is one of a long
line, including his late father. Big chunks of it make no sense whatsoever,
but it’s still silly fun.

This is the other one, a French production shot in Spain. Despite the
dates, neither series was produced or released in 2024.

The snARK (but not The Librarians)
Series 3 has a format change as the Ark reached a promised planet although
I don’t think it was the promised planet where other arks had landed and headed out to rescue still other arks. It continues to be as stupid as ever
but now they’ve added boring to the mix. Meanwhile, I still can’t find a way to watch the librarians.

Caprica (recommended by the Plex)
In some sort of world record, I only made it five minutes into this. The
whole thing looked like a 1980s disco.

Gunfight at O.K. Corral (the prequel) and Hour of the Gun (the sequel)
If I can get 2B to work today, I’ll add Sunset to that. I fear the heat may have fried T-Mobile Internet. Either that or it’s residual from the
eclipse.

I am leaving that “correction“ to TUBI because I find it amusing.

Addendum: I had to reboot the modem, but I finally got TUBI to come up.
Sunset is, of course, the completely true story of the most evil man in Hollywood history, Charlie Chaplin. Give or take a lie or two.

The People
An absolutely dreadful early 1970s ABC movie of the week starring William Shatner and Kim Darby together again for the first time.
It’s boring as hell and looks like a high school film class project.

To me the action is what makes the show special. It felt like last
season started to drag so I was happy to see this season keeps on the
move.

A lot of it was poorly plotted and some character motivation made no
sense, but the show held my interest.

I didn't watch TBBT, but I'm on the fence about watching this. I like
what I've seen in the commercials. But I have so many other things to
get to first that this will probably never even sampled.

Caprica, but I don't have it on disc and didn't feel like trying to
track it down before diving into Galactica.

I didn't watch TBBT, but I'm on the fence about watching this. I like
what I've seen in the commercials. But I have so many other things to
get to first that this will probably never even sampled.

I watched the first few seasons of TBBT but then it got put to the
side. That said I've enjoyed watching all of the episodes of STUART
FAILS TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE. There are a number of questions that get
raised by what they are going thru that will never get answered but I
suppose that is typical for these sorts of show.

If you enjoy action shows it's well worth watching. I will say season
3 went a bit too slow for me as the overall story didn't hold my
attention. Season 4 was a return to an engaging format.

I'd watch but I keep forgetting. It's another victim of too many things
on the watch list.

I know how that is. I have hundreds of shows and movies that I would
like to watch so many get set aside as something I may get to later.
Sadly it also happens with shows I'm enjoying if I can't watch for a
few weeks. I'll keep recording and possibly get back to them later.

I never did get into Caprica but did enjoy BSG.

Currently I just finished binging the entire season (likely series
end) of AGENT KIM REACTIVATED. A Korean series about a guy who was a
secret agent for the North and South, but has been retired for years
to help take care of his daughter. However events happen that force
Kim back into action in a good mix of action and humor.
Recommend you at least check out the first episode. There is a dub
available which is okay but the voice actors got a bit too silly in
their VA for me so I ended up watching the series with subtitles.
