Yes, but many people will continue to use the 'she' designation.
I commit the sin of using both designations depending upon whether I
am referring to the Ellen or Elliot time frame.

As to Elliot's troubles with finding work it's no surprise. After all
he is in many ways a brand new person and has such needs to prove
himself again. Which puts him up against the many other male actors
out there competing for jobs. Certainly he didn't thing his
performances as an actual female would count when he transitioned?

I use whatever pronouns come naturally to me. That's how it's
supposed to work: pronouns, like all the other words in a
sentence, are chosen by the speaker, not the listener or any
referenced people.

She changed her name to Elliott, but she's still very obviously a
woman. Accordingly, the most natural pronoun to use is "she."

She also has to compete against men who are actually men.
Hollywood is happy to virtue-signal how much it loves trans, but
the film industry is a business, and they need stars who'll put
buns on seats.

Right now, I feel worse for Milo. She was a kid. She got sucked
into a fad, and her mom was threatened out of stopping her, and
now her entire life is blighted. I have massive empathy for all
malpractice victims, including the ones whose cases don't meet
the legal standard.

naturally to us. (I don't have a position on this ...as I've never

I suppose it would, but there's no such thing as a widely
accepted pronoun for a person. They're variables within one
sentence. External documents are irrelevant to that.

For this to apply to pronoun mangling, you'd have to get wide
acceptance of a different pronoun system, maybe just collapse
masculine and feminine into a single case as Dutch has done. A
change that deep would take centuries, though. That's a change as
big as ceasing to use "thou," which did in fact take centuries.
