    ❗️All Samsung TVs secretly record their users at home 24 hours a day.

    A hacker broke into one of the TVs and discovered that the TV continuously records and scans:

    • Audio from the room
    • The home Wi-Fi network and connected devices
    • Geolocation and IP address
    • Scans everything that happens on the screen

    The TV sends all the collected data to Samsung's partner servers every minute for targeted advertising.

    "All Samsung TVs"?? Nope. Neither of our Samsung TVs do anything like
    that ... neither is connected to the internet, and one of them is not a
    silly smart" TV anyway (I've never bothered to look if the newer one is "smart" or not). :-p
