Just in time, exactly what I'd hoped for. They go on sale at 10 AM
Thursday for $18.99/#. I'll be grilling one at Echo Bluff State Park on Friday. The first night of vacation will be in a tent. The next day, it
we'll be splitting a full rack of St. Louis style ribs in Arkansas. We
got lucky there too, scoring a $20 dining certificate for $11.25. I'll
be wearing my hat *after* we get our food. https://photos.app.goo.gl/9xSLA5kSKvgRox4E6
Because most of the voters in that town are dumb apes who voted for Old Poopypants.

Next, to a little island of civilization in Springdale, then Bentonville
to the museums, and in another nice piece of timing, we'll be departing
for Tulsa midday Tuesday, and right on our way is a Taqueria that has
great Taco Tuesday specials. Hopefully all the good luck isn't setting
us up for getting tornadoed. It's that time of year you know, and
Interstate 44 from OKC to Joplin, MO is about as tornadoey as it gets.

Back to the ribeye. I'll salt and pepper it before leaving town on
Friday, and wipe it nice and dry before grilling it somewhere between
med rare and medium over a wood fire. I'll probably bring peach wood.
I'll also grill corn in the husks.

We're just too courteous to say so."
