It got put away and forgotten about.  For over 20 years.  Finally a

Nice than the tin I use, it will be used daily starting tomorrow
morning.  Oh, the tea will be brewed in a mug she bought me two years ago.

That's beautiful! A very nice gift. Enjoy!

I'll be thinking of her every morning at breakfast. A couple of years
ago when we were out she bought me a mug that I use every day.
after 50 years, we know each other's likes very well.

That's rather pretty! How much loose tea does it hold and how tall is
    this container?

Easily holds 4 oz. of tea. To the top of the actual container is 4" and
the top adds about 2" to it. Look nice on the counter.

Very nice indeed and I could see that pot being used for sugar/sweetener packets as well as some wrapped candies, but I think your use is best.

I've been making tea caddies from various hard woods and burning
symbols from the Japanese Tea Ceremony on the sides.
I have them at the Tea Trader and two sold the other week:-)

It's a teenager you pay to carry your teabags for you to recommend which
type of tea to drink to suit your mood.
