I stopped the video at 5:58 to post this. If you watch it from about
5:30, you'll get it. It seems to me that Bowie had absorbed a lot from
Ronson, and that was winding down through *Aladdin Sane* and certainly
that *Pinups* thing. He took that and did *Diamond Dogs* w/o Ronson, and
that was quite an achievement. Ronson also produced *All the Young
Dudes*, but also did the arrangements and wrote and played the piano on
one of the greatest love songs ever, *Perfect Day*.

The best guitarist ever is probably one that you never heard of. There's a lot
of great guitar players in the world and most of them have never made a record.
Well, that's what I figure anyway.

If I could play guitar like anyone else, I'd want it to be Pete Townshend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etmw8JvMO30
I don't even care for a lot of The Who's material, but no one was more dynamic. *Who's Next* was brilliant, but I thought that *Quadrophenia*
was kind of dumb, and *Tommy* was full on stupid.

"You know how I describe the economic and social classes in this
country? The upper class keeps all of the money, pays none of the taxes.
The middle class pays all of the taxes, does all of the work. The poor
are there just to scare the shit out of the middle class."
