honestly what appealed to me was theres no big tech regulating our speech here telling us what we can and cant talk about so thats really cool and the fact that we here as a community are keeping this old school technolog alive is absolutely awesome as i am a huge fan of doing just that lol besides its alos just a different and new to me means of communicating with people , kinda gives a sense of freedom IMHO

It's moderated too, but the point of moderating isn't attracting shareholders, but keeping the place fun and clean. And yes, people, not algorithms or "blackbox AI model" trained on who knows what.

The most famous BBS games are: LORD, Trade Wars 2002 (TW2002), and SRE/BRE.

* Legend of the Red Dragon: competitive hack n slash / arena + romance
* TW2002: space trading and conflict game with planets, different ships, etc.
* SRE/BRE: space strategy; buy territory, build armies, invest, attack

Whatever else you do, make sure you give each game a try. Personally, I think TW2002 is still an amazing game 40 years after it was released!
