Marvel Disney+ TV Show Gets Renewed for Another Season ------------------------------------------------------
Marvel Television's Wonder Man Season 2 is officially happening.

Wonder Man premiered on Disney+ earlier this year. Created by
Andrew Guest and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings'
Destin Daniel Cretton, the show stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as
Simon Williams, while Ben Kingsley reprises his MCU role as
    Trevor Slattery.

What is the Marvel Wonder Man Season 2 update?
Per The Hollywood Reporter, it's now been announced that Marvel
has officially renewed Wonder Man for a second season.

Abdul-Mateen II and Kingsley will both reprise their respective
roles in Wonder Man Season 2, while Cretton is also coming back
as director and executive producer, and Guest is returning as
    showrunner and executive producer.

Details beyond that remain under wraps at this time. It's
unclear if Wonder Man Season 2 will pick up immediately where
the first season left off, or if there will be a time jump.
Given that there's not a whole lot of MCU connectivity featured
in the show, it could easily be the former; then again, Marvel
Studios also seems to be setting up the Department of Damage
Control (DODC) as a big villain in some forthcoming projects,
and a time jump might make sense given how big of a role the
    organization plays in Wonder Man.

The article also notes, "In its first week, Wonder Man racked up
618 million minutes of watch time, according to Nielsen, and
landed in the metric tracking service's top 10 original streaming
series. Marvel is now looking capitalize on the response and is
planning to conduct an awards campaign for the show. It will be
submitted in the comedy series category, according to sources."

Scoring a second season of an MCU is a rare, albeit not unheard
of, feat. Loki and Daredevil: Born Again both got more seasons,
while WandaVision morphed into Agatha All Along and the
forthcoming VisionQuest show. Before those titles, Netflix MCU
shows like the original Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and
Jessica Jones all had multiple seasons, as did shows like Agents
    of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter.

The first season of Wonder Man is available to stream on Disney+.
Season 2 does not yet have a release date.

I haven't seen this series yet but Marvel usually puts out an enjoyable story.
