    Aubrey Plaza's Prime Video TV Show Gets Trailer,
    Adds Addison Rae & More to Cast

    Aubrey Plaza's upcoming Prime Video TV show Kevin, about a housecat
    who decides he doesn't want to live with people anymore, has a
    trailer and a ton of new cast members.

    The upcoming series is set to premiere on Prime Video on Monday,
    April 20, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video. The trailer follows a
    cat who decides to go live on his own after his owners break up,
    and quickly runs into problems as he tries to find a new home and
    make friends.

    Who has joined the cast of Aubrey Plaza's upcoming Prime Video
    TV show?
    Alongside the trailer's release, Amazon also announced that several
    stars have joined the cast of the upcoming show. The series is led by
    Jason Schwartzman as Kevin, with Plaza set to star as Dana, one half
    of the human couple whose break up kickstarts Kevin's journey.
    Alongside the pair, Kevin will also feature a star-studded cast of
    regulars, including Whoopi Goldberg as Cupcake, John Waters as
    Armando, Aparna Nancherla as Judy, Gil Ozeri as Seth, and Amy Sedaris
    as Brandi.

    Besides the main cast, Kevin will also feature a stacked list of guest
    stars, including Aaron Jackson, Addison Rae, Ben Rodgers, Carl Tart,
    Cary Elwes, Charles Melton, Debby Ryan, Eugene Cordero, Jim O'Heir,
    Joe Locke, Joe Wengert, John Milhiser, Lamar Woods, Lennon Parham,
    Maria Bamford, Mike Mitchell, Neil Casey, Nick Tiger Wiger, Nicole
    Byer, Pam Murphy, Patti LuPone, Quinta Brunson, Seth Kirschner,
    Stephanie Allynne, Stephen Malkmus, and Tig Notaro.

    The series will follow the story of a housecat who "decides he doesn't
    want to live with people anymore." According to a report from THR, the
    series is loosely based on a real-life break-up between a couple, and
    the cat that was caught in the middle.

    Joe Wengert (Big Mouth) will write the series alongside Plaza, and
    will also serve as showrunner for the series. Plaza will also produce
    the project through her Evil Hag Productions banner, as will Dan Murphy,
    the author of the children's books The Legend of the Christmas Witch and
    its sequel.
