• Mary Tyler Moore wasn't supposed to make that shot

I just watched this video featuring a clip from The Dick Van Dyke Show,
in which Laura makes a tricky poker shot. They were going to cut to a
pro pool player doing the shot, but through chance, MTM actually landed
    it.

This clip is gold. Look at her face as she realizes the balls are
actually going in. Look how smoothly Dick Van Dyke folds his real shock
into the character's freeze. I replayed it several times.

This turned up in my feed some time back. It is indeed fortunate that an actor's genuine surprise can be worked into the scene for a better
result. When they break character, it's just gag reel fodder.

She gets more beautiful with age.

I W/Qed the remake. Unless they were going back to Phillip K. Dick,
    there was no point.

Cool find. But the game is pool, not poker. ;-)

    Huh, that's an odd typo.

This morning, a friend of mine in messenger mentioned total recall. I
replied with the actress name, Lycia Naff. AutoCorrect changed it to Lycia
Maddie before posting. I have no idea what they were going for there.

Which reminds me of Rachel Ticotin. Now you might wonder what she is
up to and why her name came to mind. She was in the last few episodes
of this season of SHERIFF COUNTRY and with the final reveal of the
season she is set to play a big role next season.

And of course she’s the ex-wife of CSI Horatio Caine.

I thought that was Alana de la Garza?

She’s the character’s deceased wife. It’s just as well, retards run in the
family. Of course, they run like retards so it’s funny.

Apparently, I was wrong. She and Caruso were never married, but they have a daughter together in her 40s. IMDb says she’s married to Peter Strauss. I’m looking to see if that’s the rich man poor man guy.

Indeed, it is. Been married since 1998.

Full name being "Horatio Glasses-off Glasses-on Caine". :-p
