Hostility to illegal migrants has manifested itself in some "mostly
peaceful" demonstrations - in South Africa. The only difference between
these demonstrations and the ones we see in the West are that the
protesters are as black as the people being protested against.

It will come as no surprise to astute political observers that media
coverage of the South African protests are entirely different than media coverage of Western protests. The BBC for instance defends the protests
as being due to legitimate concerns while characterizing protests in
Britain as "far right thuggery".
