• [OT] Is Newsom going down?

I just watched this and was pleasantly surprised to find that Gavin
Newsom finally seems to have been caught with his hand in the cookie jar
in the form of a pay-to-play scheme where companies donated thousands of dollars to his wife's charity in exchange for contracts worth millions
of dollars. Some polls show him having already fallen from 30% in the
    polls to 15%.

The bad news is that Kamala Word Salad is now leading in the polls. But
maybe that's good news because it's hard to picture her actually winning
an election. This is a woman who dropped out of her first presidential
run when she had not secured a single delegate and who only became the presidential candidate in 2024 when the Democrats anointed her without a traditional convention. Then she lost against a very controversial guy
by losing EVERY swing state and even the popular vote.

The Democrats have other contenders so maybe somebody like AOC will get
the nomination. That would seem to ensure an even bigger victory for the eventual Republican nominee.

This HAS to be great news for Republicans unless I'm missing something....

Bad assumption - the Dems could probably run a literal scarecrow or
    mannequin after Trump and win.

Running her would certainly be an attempt to prove that.

This has been well known for years. It's how PG&E got away with burning down
an entire town and killing hundreds of people. They donated heavily to his wife's non-profit, where she makes feminist gender ideology documentaries and then has Gavin force all the school districts to show them to the students,
but only after they pay her for every showing.

These two are as corrupt as they come and it's so amazing that the 'progressive' leftists that have collective strokes over Trump's self-dealing just hold their hands over their ears and chant "la-la-la" like 5-year-old
when it comes to these two reptiles because he has a (D) after his name.

Giggles Harris couldn't even win her own state in the primary and only was chosen to be VP because Biden and promised to pick a black woman and his first choice-- Karen Bass, god help us all-- had that inconvenient period in her youth where she joined an anti-American communist front called the Vinceremos Brigade and spent her college years swooning at the feet of Fidel Castro. Biden's people knew she'd be torn apart over that, so Kamala failed upward
once again. Literally a DEI hire.
