After an arduous workout, I watched:

    Nothing.

    What did you watch?

I watched "A Neanderthal Odyssey: Everything We Know
    about the Neanderthals."

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNVA6tl4Im4&t=12s

I also watched "How Far Back In Time Could You
    Communicate With Your Ancestors?"

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-ApheO4S7g

I only half-watched the former, since most of the
material was familiar. The latter seemed like it would
also be familiar, but it surprised me by tying in
unexpected things like baby signs and gorilla
vocalizations. That channel's new to me, but I'll
probably be watching more of it.

    What did everyone else watch?

Maybe 150 years? Because at that point none of them would be able to speak English.

If memory serves, it's around the 1500's, when there was a profound shift
    in pronounication.

Not really because according to a Youtube video there is at least one
town where many people still speak old English. Now how much further
back you could go I don't know.

My ancestors were all in Europe until the late 1800s. I assume they spoke
    the local metric languages.
