    He makes some good points but I think the best one comes at the end: as
    good as the AIs have become, they are never going to create anything particularly new. They aren't going to replace Bach or Coltrane or the Beatles.

    They've already produced a rendition of "Beethoven's 10th symphony"
    based on his notes for his unfinished 10th symphony which he was
    working on at the time of his death - and that was done more than 5
    years ago before the current AI push.

    (Though I suspect that would be rather like trying to generate the
    last movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata or the 9th Symphony
    simply from the first two movements of each. If you know either of
    those two you know exactly what I mean - I gave up piano after failing
    to master the 3rd movement of the Moonlight years ago)

    Actually, you might try that with his 5th Symphony...
