The Boys, unveiling the first teaser trailer for Season 5 along with
its release schedule. The footage, revealed during CCXP 2025 in
Sao Paulo, confirms when audiences will witness the beginning of the
series' end. As the premiere date approaches, interest in the show's
conclusion continues to intensify.

At CCXP 2025 in Sao Paulo, Prime Video released the first teaser
trailer for The Boys Season 5, confirming its premiere date as April 8,
2026. The final season will begin with a two-episode premiere and
conclude on May 20, 2026.

The trailer revealed that Antony Starr's Homelander dominates in a
world governed by his own unstable whims. Hughie (Jack Quaid),
Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso), and Frenchie (Tomer Capone) are held in a
"Freedom Camp." Annie/Starlight (Erin Moriarty) leads a resistance
against the Supes while Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) is missing.

Karl Urban's Butcher returns with a plan to release a virus that could
eradicate all Supes. The official synopsis states, "He sets in motion
a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in
it."

Jensen Ackles reappears as Soldier Boy, now cryogenically frozen.
Jared Padalecki also joins the cast in an undisclosed role. This marks
a reunion with Ackles and showrunner Eric Kripke from their time on
Supernatural. Kripke, appearing onstage at CCXP with cast members,
confirmed the final season will feature "big stuff."

Season 5 continues the plot threads from Gen V Season 2. The spin-off
ended with Polarity warning Marie Moreau and her group that Vought
planned to target them, prompting the group to join Annie's growing
resistance.

A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) confirmed his alignment with the rebellion.
Kripke stated that Season 5 takes place "several months" after the
Gen V finale and noted that things have gone "not well" for the
resistance since then.

Misha Collins will appear in Season 5 but does not appear in the
teaser. The Boys franchise also expands with the animated series
The Boys Presents: Diabolical and upcoming spin-offs Vought Rising and
The Boys: Mexico.
