Starfleet Academy episode three. Worst one yet. Just boring.
What did you watch?
I also tried a show called Bored to Death, on HBO MAX, and I liked it a
lot. It stars a writer who tires of his quiet life and advertises his >services as a private detective. He's completely up front about having
no license and no real detective skills, but he doesn't charge much, so
some people hire him anyway.

I believe this show was produced before Warner Bros./HBO had a streaming platform.

It first launched in 2009, for whatever that's worth.

I was so close! The fat hologram tried to eat dirt.
I so wish the fat hologram was affected differently by being
transported.Why does she get disoriented?

Wait, why does she have to be transported? Why don't they just start >generating her at the destination?

The other team teleported her as part of their prank war.
In addition to all the other complaints, I wouldn't think the transporter >should work on her at all.
Even Red Dwarf handled holograms more sensibly.
No, it wouldn't. They also should not be able to walk around outside a holodeck, either.

Wasn't the Doctor originally unable to leave the sick bay?
I guess this is far in the future from that era, but still.

The Doctor began using a mobile emitter in a season 3 episode of Voyager
so the writers could use him in other scenes. It was a literal plot device.
Quite frankly, while EVERYTHING about holodecks and holographic
characters is literally a plot device, this was a massive retcon. The
point was that the ship had a skelaton crew and the military surgeon had
been killed. How would the crew exist without a doctor especially if he couldn't be used on away missions? It was supposed to be part of the adventure. Space is dangerous, especially without the rest of the fleet.
