seen video of Europeans who are distant descendants of Crusaders
actually travelling to the Middle East and seeking out distant
descendants of early Muslims to apologize to them.

I've never gotten the whole 'guilt for the Crusades" thing. First of all, it >was soooo long ago that surely the statute of limitations on guilt has to have >run out for all but the most mentally ill among us.
Second, the Crusades were launched in response to Muslim/Arab aggression into >Christian lands, so FAFO. Don't start something you can't finish.
