It was legal and holstered.  This was another execution.
The rightards always want 2nd Amendment rights.

Those ICE guys seem to have no idea how to de-escalate situations. It
is unfortunate that so many Americans are armed and that there are so
many police shootings that the cops now feel entitled to used deadly
    force at the slightest provocation.

I have some mixed feelings about the ICE raids. There is no question
about they being a lot of undocumented people in the country. Read
that as illegal immigrants.  They know they are there illegally. They
either snuck into the country or the entered legally and overstayed.
They know they should not be there and they could have left on their own.

Despite that, these mass roundups are a disgrace. It's bad enough that
they are heavy handed but they are so obviously acts of retribution
against the cities and states that oppose Trump. It is political revenge.

Your endless LIES and political chaff are the only joke here.

    AI Overview
ICE agents, as federal law enforcement officers, have the right to defend themselves and are authorized to use force, including deadly force, when they reasonably believe it is necessary to protect themselves or others from an imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury. This authority is supported by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) policies and qualified immunity, which shields them from liability in many circumstances.
Key details regarding the right to self-defense for ICE agents include:
Use of Force Policy: Agents are permitted to use force when they have "reasonable grounds to believe that such force is necessary".
Deadly Force Constraints: Deadly force is authorized only when there is an "imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury".
Vehicle Incidents: While generally prohibited from firing at moving vehicles, agents may do so if they feel someone is threatening deadly force with the vehicle or by other means.
Legal Protections: Agents generally possess qualified immunity, making it difficult to hold them personally accountable in court for actions taken within the scope of their employment.
Self-Defense Context: The right to defend themselves is considered an inherent aspect of their role in enforcing federal law.
Conversely, it is a serious federal crime to assault an ICE officer.

    AI Overview
ICE agents are authorized to defend themselves and others from imminent threats of death or serious bodily injury, with policies allowing for the use of "objectively reasonable" force. While they are trained to prioritize safety and use minimum necessary force, they can employ deadly force immediately if they perceive a high-level threat.
Key details regarding ICE agent self-defense:
Use of Force Policy: Agents are trained to use force when they have "reasonable grounds to believe that such force is necessary". This includes using less-lethal devices like pepper spray or flashbang grenades.
Deadly Force: According to training documents, deadly force does not have to be a last resort, and agents may initiate it if they feel it is required to protect themselves.
Vehicle Exception: While generally prohibited from shooting at moving vehicles, agents may do so if they believe the vehicle is being used as a weapon to threaten deadly force.
Legal Protections: Agents are not granted "absolute immunity," but often have qualified immunity, meaning they can face lawsuits or criminal charges if they act outside the law or policy, though this is difficult to prove.
Resistance: Agents may use force when encountering resistance to arrest

They threw him to the ground. Four or five agents had him on the ground and they just started shooting him. They shot him so many times … I don’t know why they shot him. He was only helping. I was five feet from him and they just shot him …”

She continued: “I have read the statement from DHS about what happened

ICE agents are authorized to defend themselves and others from imminent
threats of death or serious bodily injury, with policies allowing for
the use of "objectively reasonable" force. While they are trained to
prioritize safety and use minimum necessary force, they can employ
deadly force immediately if they perceive a high-level threat. Key
details regarding ICE agent self-defense: Use of Force Policy: Agents
are trained to use force when they have "reasonable grounds to believe
that such force is necessary". This includes using less-lethal devices
like pepper spray or flashbang grenades. Deadly Force: According to
training documents, deadly force does not have to be a last resort, and
agents may initiate it if they feel it is required to protect
themselves. Vehicle Exception: While generally prohibited from shooting
at moving vehicles, agents may do so if they believe the vehicle is
being used as a weapon to threaten deadly force. Legal Protections:
Agents are not granted "absolute immunity," but often have qualified
immunity, meaning they can face lawsuits or criminal charges if they
act outside the law or policy, though this is difficult to prove.
Resistance: Agents may use force when encountering resistance to arrest

It's a tough sell to claim self defense when the guy is legally carrying

problem here because we don't have concealed carry. Cops rarely shoot

The training for our version of it is extensive. Most of those who get recruited are college or university. Part of the application process
involves and 18 week course (unpaid) and they don't get a job offer
until they graduate from the course. Despite the strict requirements and interviewing process about 30% fail to complete the course.

The guys that do the inland enforcement to sometimes travel in groups, certainly not in large groups like we see in the US. When they do go
out after these guys it is generally people who have been issued with deportation orders and they are often criminals, sometimes violent gang members. My understanding is that they are not allowed to wear face
coverings, though some of them had issues with exposure when they are

The training for our version of it is extensive.

    Ya think, officer dave?

Key Aspects of Current ICE Training
Duration: The academy training was reduced to approximately 47 days to meet rapid hiring demands, with reports indicating a shift from a 16-week, or 5-month, program to an 8-week, 6-day-a-week schedule.
Core Curriculum: Training includes instruction on immigration law, constitutional rights, and defensive tactics.
Physical & Firearms Training: The program is physically demanding, featuring firearms, marksmanship, and defensive techniques.
Specialized Areas: For Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents, training covers complex topics like cybercrime, human trafficking, and financial investigations.
Vehicle Training: Recruits practice high-speed driving, skid recovery, and navigating urban environments.

What these leftist scum don't want to admit is that ICE is not dealing
with "protesters". The individuals who were killed were not merely "protesters".

Protesters stand on the sidelines holding signs and yelling slogans.
What we are dealing with in Minnesota are actually insurrectionists (essentially Bolsheviks). They are well-funded by Soros Inc. and
associates, well-organized, and rather than simply "protesting" they
are actively interfering with the lawful and desirable activity of
deporting illegal aliens. These insurrectionists also interfere with
the normal activities and businesses of American citizens as well as
wantonly destroying property. Their aim is not to simply express their
opinions but to spread general chaos.

President Trump would be completely justified in using the Insurrection
Act against these miscreants. Heck, I'd be in favor of Trump declaring
a national emergency to begin the necessary task of rounding up leftists, particularly the leaders, to be transported to pre-determined points
around the country where they can then be eradicated.

The American Left is an existential threat to our country and our way
of life and must be effectively dealt with before we find ourselves

-- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The American Left is a disease much like cancer and just as dangerous. It is high time to treat it as such. You don't argue with or debate cancer, you eradicate it. Round up Leftists/Progressives and ship them to predetermined points around the country where they can then be exterminated. Problem solved. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- Synchronet 3.21a-Linux NewsLink 1.2

https://thelibertydaily.com/what-left-doesnt-want-you-know-about-alex/ According to Jeanne Massey, a neighbor, Pretti was part of a “Signal ICE” group chat of volunteers who organized a sophisticated operation to track ICE activity in real time and alert each other when agents were in the area.
These folks patrol streets, blow whistles, alert residents, and film operations to disrupt arrests.
That puts him not on the sidelines but plugged into the very network that coordinated responses to federal enforcement operations.
Mother Jones profiled the group just last week.
“A new activist twist on neighborhood watch is taking shape in Minneapolis and other cities under occupation by federal immigration agents: ICE Watch,” the outlet reported.
“As Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel drive around these cities, they’re often tailed by people in the neighborhoods. The idea is to make sure witnesses are present for any immigration arrest, to catch incidents on video, and to protest—or at least get the detainee’s name.”
The article described the “ICE watchers” as “passionate, determined, and just about everywhere—and ICE is getting frustrated.”
