What's on your menu tonight? Anyone that got blasted with the snow
and ice storm brave enough to venture out?

My tomato soup and ham and broccoli quiche are history so tonight's
fare is going to be creamy chicken, rice, and mushroom soup. I've
gotten everything chopped and diced and rice washed and, in a while,
I'll head to the kitchen and pull out the Ninja Foodi to prepare this
    /sooooo/ good soup.

If you've stayed home since Friday's shopping you are one smart cookie,
    really.

I have no plans to venture out until Friday and that will be for groceries.
I have stepped out onto the front porch and later stepped out onto the back porch. But I quickly scurried back inside.

It reached 30° today and was sunny but turned cloudy in the afternoon
but the sun produced a good amount of melting. Around 34° is predicted
for Wednesday and if it's sunny, even more ice will melt.

    Salad.

Lunch was a buffalo chicken sandwich and tater tots.

I think it reached 20 F here today. Woo-hoo. Heat wave.

We are having grilled pork chops.
We got the snow storm but not the ice. We were out a couple times today.
I ran my wife over to the lab and after dropping her off there I went to
the hardware store for a few things. I was almost back to the lab when
she called that she was finished. Not really finished though. Apparently
they didn't have the requisi1tion that had been sent there. We went to
the bank to pay some bills then for a coffee. Then she got a call from
the lab that the requisition was there so she went back on there own. A
while after lunch I went out to the library.

The roads were in surprisingly good condition. You definitely had to be careful but all the main roads and most of the side streets had been
    cleaned.

Apparently the roads in Toronto are a mess. They had close to 20 inches
of snow on the weekend. That much snow presents special problems because
they run out of space to put the snow.

Only a little melted snow came down here. Yesterday at work my
granddaughter ordered inner and it was a BOGO sale at the restaurant. It
was steak, vegetable, rice in a tasty sauce. She gave me one and I had
    it tonight.

She works at Restaurant A, this was from Restaurant B. For a change,
they sometimes order out from a different restaurant and have it delivered.

I would, ergo the positive words.

Many will not, we call them accident makers.
