explaining one of the reasons that it was out of the question for me to
play high school (American) football was the locker room. There were
other reasons too, but being around the odor of sweaty males was a deal >breaker.
I don't think that the way that I am about male bodies is perfectly
healthy, but it's also not particularly dysfunctional. Luckily, my
aversion is limited to the non-visual senses, and part of the reason is
that I can turn away.

When I was in 7th and 8th grade, my brother was on the Varsity
wrestling team. I thought it looked like it'd be pretty repulsive,
being that close to a male body.
That said, I'm not homophobic. I
don't understand why any guy wouldn't be happy that a potential
competitor was removing himself from the game. If most other guys
were gay, that would increase opportunities for those of us who
aren't. I'd love to have multiple women. Problem is, my wife won't
let me. ;-(
