Don't need no stinkin' pockets. Your life is on your wrist. 🙂

From a different viewpoint, I don't need no stinkin' smartphone or a
    smart watch.

I'll admit, when I was snowblowing on Sunday, it might have been
nice to know my heart rate. I sat down for a rest, mentally played
"The Stars and Stripes Forever" at 120 beats per minute, and noted
my heart was beating faster than that.

Of course, I would have had to take off my gloves to see the watch.

Maybe you need a Fitbit. I have been using one for years. I am not sure
it is 100% accurate and I suspect that when I drive or mow the lawn the vibrations from the machines make my heart rate seem higher. I confess
that despite have taken first aid courses at work to maintain
certification, I cannot take my own pulse.

My Fitbit and it's app track a lot of health related information. It
tracks and records my heart rate all day long. It counts my steps and
monitors my sleep. When I go to the cardiologist I can quickly show her
the records for the last couple of weeks.

On a normal day, my heart rate never gets above baseline.

Officer Dave probably has a staff of 50 cardiologists. 😊
